The fifth book in the Mortal Instruments series is due for release later this year and Cassandra Clare and her publishers have decided to tease the fans by not only revealing the cover image but also by giving them an extract from the book!

What do you think? The author has confirmed via Twitter that the guy on the cover is indeed Jace and she’s also confirmed that the runes on Clary’s arm have special significance. What do you think?
