The Life and Death of Steve Jobs as told by Walter Isaacson

When Steve Jobs passed away on the 5th of October this year, the world saw hundreds of thousands grieving for the great innovator, while detractors took the opportunity to revile him as a sweatshop-using megalomaniac. (I think the timing could have been better managed, regardless of the validity or not of such statements.) I admit that I am a massive Apple fan and I was saddened by the early death of a man with a great love of design and technology.

The pre-orders for Steve Jobs: The Exclusive Biography have run into the thousands, surpassing pre-orders for the seventh Harry Potter book. According to the New York Times, the book will deal with Steve Jobs’ long-term battle with pancreatic cancer, the measures he took to beat it and how it affected his work at Apple. The Huffington Post says that the book also deals with Steve Jobs’ relationships with Obama, Bill Gates and his estranged biological father.

There’s definitely going to be some fascinating information and insights in this highly-anticipated biography… make sure to pre-order your copy at Exclusives.co.za today before the embargo lifts on the 24th of October.
