With the Beta over and done with it would seem that millions of Battlefield fanatics are now queuing to get their grubby gamer paws on a copy of Battlefield 3! The pre orders have gone from 1.5 million to 2 million in almost no time, despite numerous reports of some pretty interesting bugs in the Beta.
In an interview with Fox Business , EA’s Kevin O’ Leary attributed the huge amount of pre orders to the timing if the game release:
“We’re getting out in a great window,” he said. “Obviously, holiday season is a great time to get the games out there. New thing for Battlefield, too, coming out in this holiday window, so we’re excited about it, to get it out there, get it in people’s hands.”
The previous Battlefield games where both hugely successful, with both games scoring in the nineties on Metacritic.
