The One Club Festival: Join In The Fun At Your Nearest Exclusive Books

The wonderful world of children’s literature comes alive at Exclusive Books for the Children’s One Club Festival that takes place between 15 March and 15 April 2013. Fantastic titles are available for children from the ages of three to fourteen as well as for the older teen and young adult. There will also be delightful in-store events featuring favourite characters from children’s stories in read-alongs and group playtime activities.

The great line-up of in-store events means that entertainment for the Easter school holiday is already organised for busy mums. The events are always a huge hit with kids who get to spend time reading along with a Mermaid or the Gruffalo and then participate in fun activities whilst mum gets on with the shopping, undisturbed. The fantastic selection of titles is the biggest draw card with age appropriate books that encourage imagination and learning. Another exciting offer in-store is the Julia Donaldson promotion featuring her A Squash and a Squeeze, Jack & the FlumFlum Tree, The Gruffalo and Room on a Broom. Children will be treated to goodie boxes from Exclusive Books brand partners at selected stores. Fanatics can look forward to earning 400 bonus points on all featured titles.

Several exciting competitions will be taking place during the One Club Festival. The first prize is R10 000 worth of books for a child’s school library (for older children) as well as a R1000 voucher for the lucky child who wins. The second prize is a One Club Festival Trolley Dash. The trolley dash competition is for 6-9 year olds with one competition per region in Pretoria, Joburg, Durban and Cape Town. The third prize is four One Club book hampers with titles for 10 – 14 year olds.
