This month, Die Antwoord released their latest album Ten$ion featuring their brand new single “I Fink U Freeky.” The music video that was done in collaboration with South African photographer, Roger Ballen, has been a huge viral success as with their previous work – boasting nearly 1.5 million views. This rap-rave crew performed on the David Letterman Show on Monday night with Yolandi in black contact lenses, DJ Hi-Tek in a scary facemask and Ninja in an orange jumpsuit.

While some might feel a little uncomfortable that this eclectic trio (Yolandi Visser, Ninja and DJ High Tech) represent South Africans, others can do nothing but praise them for their all-out originality. Their latest album and viral videos have brought them only more international exposure.
As with their previous album, Ten$ion is themed serious but fun at the same time with its two featured vocalists – a high pitched childish Yolandi and Watkin Tudor Jones, also known as Ninja from Die Antwoord – rapping in English and Afrikaans to some serious techno-beats. The album features tracks like “Fatty Boom Boom”, “I Fink U Freeky” and “Techno Fire.”
