The Big, Bad Speculative Fiction Twitter Town Hall

Dear readers,

Pre-order by clicking on the image!

There is a definite rise in South African superstar authors, and it is well deserved. With Lauren Beukes and Sarah Lotz securing mega-auction prizes for their books, it heralds a bright and intellectual chapter in South African literature. It is particularly gratifying to see the rise and rise of speculative fiction, an old genre with glittering new potential and scope, and one that South African authors are truly mastering with aplomb and wicked skill.

We are honoured to share the Twittersphere with so many interesting, talented authors. SA Partridge, Cat Hellisen, Louis Greenberg, Sarah Lotz, Rachel Zadok, Karen Jayes, Henrietta Rose-Innes, Charlie Human, and Alex Latimer will be joining us on Twitter for a very special Twitter Town Hall, where we’ll be discussing everything to do with speculative fiction, as well as any delightful segues the conversation may take.

Details below:

Hashtag: #SpecFic
Date: 20th March
Time: 2pm onwards

We look forward to seeing you there!

Update: you can see the town hall in its entirety here
